This clearing, a short distance from camp, is where mentors bring their apprentices for training and instruction. A large, sandy hollow ringed by trees, this region of the forest is almost completely free of bumps and undergrowth, so even inexperienced apprentices are unlikely to hurt themselves on the soft ground.
